Arrival & Sign-in

Students must sign-in at the theater — ONE hour before your show time.

All children must be left with the capable TDC staff for the entire recital.

All parents are welcome to stay in the lobby until the theatre auditorium doors open.

The goal of this time is to familiarize your child with the theater stage, backstage, dressing rooms and process.

It is our goal to make the entire recital experience a complete JOY for you and your child.

Hair, Make-up and Tights

HAIR: Notes from your teacher will be available for specific classes as needed. We encourage parents to style their children's hair in a way that will make your child feel most comfortable and confident.

It is helpful to have your child's hair off their face so that parents, family, friends and the video camera can clearly see your little star on stage. Please refrain from putting beads in children's hair, as it is a safety hazard if any come off on the stage.

Make-up: The D.R.E.A.M Center does not require your child to wear make-up. As a parent, you control what make-up is worn by your child, if any.

Tights: Tights are included in your child's costume fee. You will receive your tights along with your child's costume.

Safety, Dismissal & Sign-out:

Safety is our number one priority.

No child will be permitted to leave the theatre without their own parent/guardian that:

Is known to TDC staff

Thank you in advance for your understanding, cooperation and assistance.

Due to the fact that parents are not backstage during the rehearsal or the show, should your child have a medical condition or safety issue that our staff needs to be aware of, please submit it in writing to: info@thedreamcenterdance.com before May 1, 2024.

Please be advised that it is TDC's mission to make the recital a positive experience for all involved. We reserve the right to prevent your child from performing onstage if your child is demonstrating any kind of physical or emotional distress. Even in this case, we must adhere to the no refund policy on recital tickets and recital costumes.

Thank you in advance for your understanding and cooperation.
