Idlewood Afterschool Dance Classes

The D.R.E.A.M. Center dance studio is excited to partner with Idlewood ES to start an afterschool dance program for students in Grade Pre-K - 1(Discovery Dancers) and Grades 2-5 (Distinguished Dancers). 

Our dance outreach program seeks to provide access to dance for children ages 4 -12 in local daycares, schools, and summer camps. Our goal is to provide a safe, reliable, and affordable program for enrichment through dance instruction and opportunities in dance for children to grow in confidence, discipline, collaboration skills, health, and overall development. Our mission is to build up, inspire, and educate young people to reach for and accomplish their dreams through their experiences in dance. 

Session 1: September - December
Session 2: January - May

Location: Idlewood ES

Grades PreK-5 (Discovery & Distinguished Dancers):

This program will explore ballet, jazz, and hip-hop styles, encouraging students to develop rhythm, coordination, and confidence through dynamic and contemporary movement.

Days: Fridays

Time: 2:30 PM - 3:45 PM

Styles of Dance: Ballet, Jazz, & Hip-Hop 

Program Fee: $210 per student/per session

• Includes 14 classes per session
• Includes Dancewear (T-shirt & Jazz Shoes)

Maximum Participants: 20 students
